Beta #2

I spent an hour and a half crying this morning in fear of the beta results.  Bean ended up taking me to my 7am appointment with my eyes all red and puffy.  I got upset because my boobs were not sore this morning.

So I got an 86 on Wednesday. 

The standard doubling time (how long it takes for two beta numbers to double) is 48 hours, but up to 72 hours is still normal.  

• 48 hours = 172 beta
• 72 hours = 136 beta

OB wants an 60-80% increase in numbers in 48 hours.

• 60% = 137 beta
• 80% = 155 beta

I got a 251 today!  Meaning a 31 hour doubling time or 192%!  Baby is ahead of schedule. 

Numbers are going up too quick to probably be ectopic.

My next beta is next Friday.
